The goal of Minecraft depends on the gamemode, you're playing. In the classic "Survival mode" you want to survive as long as possible and fight your way to another dimension, called the "end". In the end, you fight the enderdragon, the endboss of Minecraft. If you succeed, the game isnßt over. The game is over when you stop playing it.
